Raymond M. Hood was an early to mid-twentieth century architect of the Art Deco style. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, he was educated at Brown University, MIT, and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raymond_M._Hood). Later he partenered with John Mead Howells whom he met at the institution in Paris.
